Goodradigbee Cultural & Heritage Aboriginal Corporation’s (GCAHAC) Cultural Camp provides young mob an opportunity to connect and share their culture in a culturally safe environment. We encourage our participants to be proud of who they and where they come from and work on building strong and resilient young mob.


Based at Milson Island Sport and Recreation Centre (Darkinjung Country) our activities include:
  • Aquatic: kayaking, pool games, raft building, stand-up paddle boarding.
  • Interpersonal movement: initiatives, orienteering, bushwalking, damper cookout & baking.
  • Recreation: archery, oztag, tag of war, basketball, tennis. 
  • Cultural Workshops: dance, boomerang throwing, weaving, painting, spear throwing & corroboree

 

Program Dates: Tuesday 1st October 2024 - Friday 4th October 2024

Location: Milson Island Sport and Recreation Centre (Darkinjung Country)

Included: Meals, Cultural Activities & Supervision.

Program Cost: $1,250.00 per participant

Max Persons:  Limited to 40 children 

Registrations Close: Friday 29th September 2024 at 5pm.

 

Departure Details 

We will meet at Penrith Station (opposite the Quest Hotel, Lord Sheffield, Close Thornton) on Tuesday 1st October 2024 at 11:30am for a 12pm sharp departure.

*Please ensure children are dropped off by 11:30am to allow the program to run on time.

 

Return Details

We will return to Penrith Station (opposite the Quest Hotel, Lord Sheffield, Close Thornton) on Friday 4th October 2024 at 12pm.

*Children to be picked up at 12pm.
