Goodradigbee Cultural & Heritage Aboriginal Corporation’s (GCAHAC) Cultural Camp provides young mob an opportunity to connect and share their culture in a culturally safe environment. We encourage our participants to be proud of who they and where they come from and work on building strong and resilient young mob.
Based on the Gold Coast our activities include visiting the following:
Thursday – Travel directly to Gold Coast
Friday – Beach Day
Saturday – Australia Zoo
Sunday – Fun Outing (Paddle Boarding)
Monday – Movie World
Tuesday – Fun Day (Traditional Indigenous Games, Beach games)
Wednesday – Beach and relaxing day
Thursday – Travel back to Sydney
Accommodation
Gold Coast Recreation Precinct
1525 Gold Coast Hwy, Palm Beach QLD 4221
Program Dates: Thursday 9th January 2025 – Sunday 16th January 2025
Location: Gold Coast Theme Parks
Included: Meals, Cultural Activities & Supervision.
Program Cost: $2,500.00 per participant
Max Persons: Limited to 30 children
Registrations Close: Friday 3rd January 2025 at 5pm.
Departure Details
We will meet at Penrith Station (opposite the Quest Hotel, Lord Sheffield, Close Thornton) on Sunday 9th January 2025 at 11:30am for a 12pm sharp departure.
*Please ensure children are dropped off by 11:30am to allow the program to run on time.
Return Details
We will return to Penrith Station (opposite the Quest Hotel, Lord Sheffield, Close Thornton) on Thursday 16th January 2025 at 12pm.
*Children to be picked up at 12pm.
